Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Lock and Key Services. The goal of this contract is to establish an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) agreement for the provision of locks and key services, which will be utilized on an as-needed basis by Metro.
Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following products and services:
- Key copies (standard and non-standard)
- Rekey locks (non-Auto)
- Repairs to standard and non-standard locks
- Key accessories
- Key stamping
- Cam locks, cylinder mortise locks, and lever locks.
The contractor must provide services during normal Metro working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The contractor may also be required to travel to job sites for repairs as needed. All workers assigned to on-site jobs must pass a MNPD background check, with costs borne by the contractor.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue until terminated or until the completion of all required services as specified in the purchase orders issued under this agreement.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Metro site locations in Nashville, TN.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the following requirements:
- Provide a Certificate of Insurance within seven days of receiving an intent to award letter. Insurance must include products liability, general liability, automobile liability, and worker's compensation insurance.
- All subcontractors must be registered in iSupplier prior to the solicitation deadline.
- No Equal Business Opportunity Program Goal is established for this solicitation.
