LEED Consulting Services for Capital Projects

Background
Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is the 42nd largest urban school district in the United States, serving a diverse population of students from over 112 countries. The district aims to achieve sustainability goals through its capital construction projects, requiring LEED Silver Certification as a minimum for all projects. This solicitation seeks qualified firms to provide LEED consulting services to support these initiatives.

Work Details
The selected LEED professional will manage the LEED process for various capital construction projects throughout Davidson County during project planning, design, construction, and post-occupancy phases. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the effort with MNPS contracted design and construction teams to meet sustainability goals.
- Providing LEED consulting and documentation services including utility data reporting, whole building energy simulation modeling, and optional daylight modeling.
- Registering projects with the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) and managing documentation processes.
- Conducting sustainable design charrettes and developing preliminary LEED scorecards.
- Evaluating design opportunities for compliance with LEED prerequisites and providing guidance on sustainable design strategies.
- Facilitating communication among project teams and ensuring timely responses to requests for services.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract is five (5) years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout Davidson County, Tennessee.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must demonstrate qualifications based on experience and capabilities in providing professional services. They are required to submit proposals through the iSupplier online environment. Additionally, they must comply with MNPS's insurance requirements including general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and worker's compensation insurance.
