IT Staffing Services

Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, operating through the Nashville Electric Service (NES), is seeking proposals for IT Staffing Services. The goal of this contract is to provide qualified IT personnel to support NES's operational needs over a five-year period, with the possibility of a five-year renewal upon mutual agreement. NES is committed to ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide IT staffing services as specified in NES Specification 15-25-ITS. This includes sourcing, recruiting, and placing qualified IT professionals in various roles as needed by NES. The contractor must ensure that all personnel meet the necessary qualifications and certifications required for their respective positions. The services must be delivered in accordance with NES's operational requirements and standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for an initial period of five (5) years, with an option to renew for an additional five (5) years based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations as designated by NES within Nashville, Tennessee.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid bond in the amount of $9,000,000.00 along with their proposal. Additionally, contractors must comply with licensing requirements mandated by governmental agencies and maintain all necessary insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Bidders are encouraged to partner with small businesses and must provide documentation confirming any such partnerships.
