This solicitation aims to engage a qualified contractor for HVAC renovations at Sylvan Park Elementary School, enhancing the school's facilities to better serve its students.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for HVAC renovations at Sylvan Park Elementary School. Detailed specifications and drawings are provided in Attachment A - Drawings (Rev 1) and Attachment B - Project Manual (Rev 1). The required forms for a responsive bid include:
- Bid Form
- Bid Bond
- Power of Attorney
- Performance Bond (to be submitted after award)
- Payment Bond (to be submitted after award)
- Drug Free Workplace Affidavit
- Ethical Standards Affidavit.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period begins upon award and continues until the completion of the HVAC renovation project. Specific timelines will be outlined in the awarded contract.

The work will be performed at Sylvan Park Elementary School located at 4801 Utah Ave, Nashville, TN 37209.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all licensing requirements as per Tennessee law, including having a valid contractor's license if the total project cost exceeds $25,000. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage including:
- General Liability Insurance ($1 million)
- Automobile Liability Insurance ($1 million)
- Worker's Compensation Insurance with statutory limits
- Builders' Risk Insurance during construction. Bidders are also required to submit a completed Subcontractor Form if subcontractors are proposed.
