Healthcare Reimbursement Accounts for Katie Beckett And Tn Strong Families Programs

Background
The State of Tennessee, Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, is seeking qualified vendors for the provision of a five-year contract for Healthcare Reimbursement Accounts, as further defined in the 'SCOPE.' The Health Reimbursement Account provides for the purchase and/or reimbursement of approved goods and services as outlined in IRS publication (number) as well as related goods and services to assist children with a diagnosis of intellectual disabilities, development disabilities, or related conditions enrolled in Katie Beckett Part B or Tennessee Strong Families Programs to access needed supports and services, intended to improve individual health outcomes and maximize quality of life across multiple life domains. The dollar amount predetermined by the State shall be allocated in the Health Reimbursement Accounts up to ten thousand dollars, ($10,000.00) per year for up to 4,000 Katie Beckett Part B program members and up to twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for up to 1,000 for TN Strong Families HRA program members.

The RFP Attachment 6.6., Pro Forma Contract details the State’s requirements: Scope of Services and Deliverables (Section A); Contract Period (Section B); Payment Terms (Section C); Standard Terms and Conditions (Section D); and Special Terms and Conditions (Section E). The pro forma contract substantially represents the contract document that the successful Respondent must sign.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed over a period of five years.
