The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is seeking proposals for construction services for Phase I at Fort Negley Park. Work Details
The scope of work includes construction services as outlined in the Phase One Construction Document set prepared by the Architect/Engineer (A/E). Key tasks include:
- General Contractor (GC) responsibilities such as providing materials, labor, equipment, project management, quality control, safety and security measures.
- Coordination with Metro departments and contractors involved in the project.
- Protection of cultural resources during construction, including fencing certain areas and having a Certified Archaeologist present during work.
- Installation of specialty signage, historical interpretation features, and artistic elements like murals.
- Use of an online document management platform for sharing project documents with Metro Parks and other contractors.
- Preparation and submission of payment applications for certification.

Offerors must also provide a drug-free workplace affidavit and ensure compliance with insurance requirements including general liability insurance of $1 million.
