Enterprise Firewall and Network Security

Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is seeking proposals for an Enterprise Firewall and Network Security contract. The goal is to enhance the security infrastructure by providing support for multiple technical security controls, including firewalls and VPNs, to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with security standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide support for the existing firewall/VPN infrastructure and related application software. Specific tasks include:

1. Solutions: Purchase hardware, software, and licenses at a discount from list pricing for vendors such as CheckPoint (firewall, VPN), CoFense (phishing awareness training), Trend Micro (endpoint antimalware), LogRhythm (log aggregation), BeyondTrust (privileged access management), Absolute (remote access management), ForcePoint (web access management), Security ScoreCard (vendor risk management), and Tenable (vulnerability management).

2. Implementation: Guidance on installation and implementation of the aforementioned products.

3. Contracted Maintenance: Maintain records and assist in renewals of software/hardware maintenance contracts.

4. Technical Support: Provide direct access to technical specialists for troubleshooting and problem resolution.

5. Consulting: Offer advice on product announcements and assist in planning maintenance/upgrades.

6. Information Security Assessment: Conduct testing services including network/application layer assessments, static code analysis, physical security assessments, mobile application security evaluations, threat modeling, etc.

7. Training: Provide operator and technical training for specific products either onsite or online.

Period of Performance
The contract term shall not exceed five years from the date it is signed by all required parties.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Metro site locations in Nashville, TN.
