Background
The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is the 42nd largest urban school district in the United States, covering Nashville and Davidson County. This solicitation seeks proposals for educational services specifically tailored for preschool students aged 3 to 6 who have hearing loss.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for managing classrooms and delivering educational services to children who are hard of hearing or deaf. Specific responsibilities include:
- Managing classrooms and delivering educational services.
- Conducting assessments and participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintaining a high standard of care and education, ensuring that services are developmentally appropriate.

Services include:
- Implementation of a TDOE-approved developmental curriculum focusing on cognitive, language, pre-literacy, math, social-emotional development, physical development, and creative arts.
- Instruction led by certified educators of the deaf and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Age-appropriate classroom activities incorporating both teacher-directed and child-directed learning approaches.
- Inclusion of children with hearing loss in classrooms with typically developing peers where appropriate.
- Speech-language therapy services as determined by students' IEPs.
- Audiological consultations to ensure proper equipment functioning and effective auditory learning experiences.
- Regular assessments and progress monitoring to support student development.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for multiple years as specified in the proposal.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided at designated MNPS facilities located in Nashville, TN.
