Work Details
The selected consultant will provide comprehensive design services for the Eagle View access to New Shackle Island Road, which includes:
1. Review of Existing Conditions: Conduct surveys for utility elevations, assess the capacity and sufficiency of the existing box bridge, and evaluate the existing roadway layout including lane configurations and signage.
2. Construction Documents and Stormwater Report: Prepare stormwater evaluations that comply with Hendersonville's Stormwater Ordinance adopted in September 2024, identify utility elevations for deconfliction before construction, provide stamped construction documents, and deliver an opinion of probable cost.
3. Potential Additional Scope: Engage in public meetings to present improvements and coordinate with local/state agencies as necessary.
Deliverables include stamped construction documents covering existing conditions, proposed layout, structural details for bridge extension, utilities management plans, stormwater management reports, EPSC plan sheets, an opinion of probable cost, and digital files of all survey data.
Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be signed by March 6, 2025, with services initiated on March 10, 2025.
Final deliverables are anticipated by July 18, 2025.
