Background
The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) is seeking tree services for Cumberland View Apartments, a property it manages in Nashville, Tennessee. Work Details
The contractor will provide tree services at Cumberland View Apartments located at 2313 25th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208. The scope of work includes:
1. Removal of six (6) trees and grinding of stumps; MDHA will fill and seed the areas afterward.
2. Trimming of sixty-nine (69) trees to reduce hazard risks and raise canopies to gutter height for security visibility.
3. Provision of all necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies for tree trimming and removal services.
4. Designation of a single point of contact for MDHA.
5. Requirement for considerable experience in tree trimming and removal work.
6. Provision of personnel including an ISA certified arborist on-site during services; grounds-person/laborers skilled in ground operations; and a working foreman responsible for supervision and safety practices.
7. Furnishing fully equipped trucks and equipment necessary for the work while ensuring safety for pedestrians and vehicles around the worksite.
8. Immediate removal of all brush and trunk materials from the site after cutting.
Period of Performance
Work shall commence within one week after notification by MDHA to the contractor and shall be performed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
