Background
The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is the 42nd largest urban school district in the United States, serving a diverse student population from over 112 countries. The district aims to provide high-quality education and resources to its students and staff. This solicitation seeks proposals for computer hardware, system solutions, related equipment, and services to enhance educational delivery and operational efficiency within the district.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of various types of computer hardware and related services, specifically:
- End-User Components: Tower and Micro-form factor computers, Laptops, Docking Stations, Tablets, Monitors (17-27 inches and larger), all with licensed operating systems.
- Centrally Managed Infrastructure: Servers (rack-mounted models), associated blade servers, on-premises cloud platform servers.
- Storage and Backup Solutions: Storage Area Networks (SAN) with capacities between 200 TB – 500 TB, Network Attached Storage (NAS), air-gapped backup solutions, standard backup services for up to 275 servers including Microsoft Active Directory structure.
- Administrative Support: Reporting on hardware purchases with detailed records including make, model, serial number, purchase dates, etc., and providing a single point of contact for contract management.
- Warranty Support: Maintenance services on all purchased equipment with OEM warranty coverage.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award with specific timelines for delivery of products and services as outlined in the solicitation. The exact duration is expected to be multi-year.

The primary location for performance will be at Metro Nashville Public Schools facilities located at 2601 Bransford Ave, Nashville, TN 37204.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized Licensing Solution Providers (LSP) with Microsoft. They must provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to contract execution covering general liability ($1 million), automobile liability ($1 million), professional liability ($1 million), workers' compensation insurance as required by Tennessee law, technological errors & omissions coverage ($1 million), and cyber/privacy insurance based on the number of schools serviced. Additionally, bidders must comply with MNPS's nondiscrimination policies.
