Centennial Park Phase III Improvements

Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Centennial Park Phase III Improvements project. This project aims to enhance the park facilities and infrastructure, aligning with Metro's mission to provide quality public spaces for community use. The goal is to enter into a contract for a capital project that includes significant construction work.

Work Details
The scope of work includes demolition of existing site features and pavement, followed by the construction and installation of landscape and hardscape elements, paths, parking areas, roads, utilities, site fixtures, and all other components as specified in the plans.

Key components include:
- Construction of a new 12,000 square foot structure with approximately 10,000 square feet of open-air space under roof and three enclosed components totaling 2,000 square feet for restroom, utilities, and storage.
- Renovation of the Croquet Shelter.
- Development of an Events Pavilion.
- Construction of vehicular roadways and parking areas.
- Installation of walls, seating areas, steps, paving, landscape improvements, lighting, and irrigation systems.
- All grading, drainage work, mechanical, electrical and plumbing utilities associated with these components.

Additionally, temporary utilities will be furnished and maintained during construction. The project also includes rehabilitation of the Croquet Clubhouse for use as a café or coffee shop with associated outdoor dining improvements.

Period of Performance
Construction is expected to start within 30 days after award notification. The contractor must complete the project within 12 months from the start date. The anticipated completion date is Fall 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Centennial Park located in Nashville, TN.
