Description

Camera System for Bus Fleet
Background
The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is the 42nd largest urban school district in the United States, covering Nashville and Davidson County. The district serves a diverse student population from over 112 countries, speaking more than 80 languages. MNPS is seeking proposals for the installation of camera systems on its school bus fleet to enhance safety and monitoring capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide full installation of camera systems on school buses at the Metro Nashville School Bus Lot. The initial requirement is for 123 camera systems, with potential for additional installations as needed. Each system will include:
- 1 x 16 channel DVR
- 5 x interior cameras
- 1 x windshield camera
- 2 x exterior cameras

The installation will also involve sensor wiring, programming, panic button integration, Wi-Fi/GPS antenna setup, and removal and disposal of existing systems. The contractor must conduct a site survey, ensure secure mounting of cameras, connect all components to the DVR system, integrate panic buttons for immediate alerts, and provide a five-year warranty on all installed systems.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract is five (5) years.

Place of Performance
Installation will take place at the Metro Nashville School Bus Lot located at 2601 Bransford Ave, Nashville, TN 37204.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must comply with MNPS's policies regarding competitive sealed bidding and are required to submit their proposals through the iSupplier online environment. They must provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to contract execution and maintain general liability insurance of at least $1 million. Additionally, offerors must certify compliance with various legal requirements including non-discrimination policies and adherence to the Iran Divestment Act.
