Bid 25-14 Chillers for Howard High School and Dalewood Middle School

Background
Hamilton County Schools (HCS) is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor to provide HVAC equipment, specifically Inverter Scroll Heat Pump Chillers, for Howard High School and Dalewood Middle School. The goal of this contract is to enhance the HVAC systems in these schools by supplying necessary chillers without installation services, which will be handled by HCS staff.

Work Details
The contract includes the purchase and supply of the following HVAC equipment:

- For Howard High School:
- (2) Nominal 180 Ton Chillers with 3 Modules Each
- (1) Nominal 300 Ton Chiller with 5 Modules
- (11) 60 Ton Modular Heat Pump Chillers

- For Dalewood Middle School:
- Nominal 150 Ton Chiller with 3 Modules
- (3) 50 Ton Modules

All chillers must meet or exceed specified performance metrics including efficiency ratings (EER and NPLV). The units must be equipped with variable speed inverter compressors, R-32 refrigerant, and include a one-year parts warranty plus an additional two-year compressor warranty. Delivery is expected within a lead time of 6-8 weeks from the issuance of the purchase order.

Period of Performance
The contract period is expected to begin on December 20, 2024, or soon thereafter. The vendor is responsible for delivery and training within a maximum of 6-8 weeks from the issuance of the purchase order.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to Howard High School and Dalewood Middle School located in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
