Bid 1567: Robertson County Schools - Sealing and Striping of Asphalt Parking Lots and Driveways

Background
Robertson County Schools is seeking sealed bids for the sealing and striping of asphalt parking lots and driveways at Jo Byrns Elementary School and Greenbrier High School.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and appearance of the school facilities by ensuring that the parking areas are properly maintained.
The Finance Director, Jody Stewart, oversees this solicitation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete installation of sealing and striping at both schools, which includes:
1. Cleaning existing asphalt as required for application.
2. Application of pavement crack seal/crack fill and joint sealant across the entire paved area as required.
3. Providing all labor, material, and equipment to apply new emulsion type pavement sealer to achieve a uniform appearance across the paved area.
4. Providing all labor, material, and equipment to apply new pavement striping to match the existing layout, including remarking of all parking spaces, hashed emergency areas, turn arrow indications, bus lanes, and any numbering present.

Period of Performance
All work is expected to take place over the summer break following bid approval.
Specific dates will be determined after contractor mobilization.

The work will be performed at Jo Byrns Elementary School located at 6399 Hwy 41 N, Cedar Hill, TN 37032 and Greenbrier High School located at 126 Cuniff Dr., Greenbrier, TN 37073.
