Background
The City of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is seeking bids for the Arbor Creek Way Culvert Slip Lining project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure by rehabilitating an existing culvert, ensuring its functionality and longevity. This project is funded through the City Operational Budget and is not federally or grant funded.
Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Slip lining of an existing 36-inch CMP culvert with SWHDPE (Solid Wall High-Density Polyethylene), which involves grouting of the pipe invert and grouting of the annular void between the host pipe and new pipe.
- Additional tasks include erosion control, seeding and mulching, and any other incidentals necessary to complete the project.
Specific requirements include:
1) Grout mix design;
2) Pipe liner product information including joint/fitting information.
The contractor is responsible for managing erosion control measures to prevent sediment from leaving the site.
Period of Performance
The contract length is Ninety (90) Calendar Days from the start date, which will be determined after bid acceptance and contract execution.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Arbor Creek Way in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Bidders must have a current/valid contractor’s license issued by the Tennessee Board of Commerce & Insurance (TBCI). All bidders must comply with the requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act.
