Community Park Civil Defense Siren Project # 26026

Work Requested:
The City of Box Elder is requesting bids from experienced and qualified contractors for the installation of a new civil defense siren at Community Park. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to:

• Installation of a new civil defense siren
• Installation of a pole
• Installation of a light fixture
• Electrical connection for the siren and associated equipment

Who is Requesting:
This solicitation is issued by the City of Box Elder.

Background:
The City of Box Elder is undertaking this project to enhance public safety at Community Park by installing a new civil defense siren system.

Contract Requirements:
All bid proposals must be submitted on the official project Bid Proposal Form provided with the contract documents. Every space for Bid Prices must be completed, either in ink or typewritten, and the Bid Proposal form must be fully completed and executed. In case of discrepancies between unit prices and extended total prices, the unit prices will govern. If there is a discrepancy between a numerical price and its written equivalent, the written price will govern. Bidders must provide a price for every item listed on the Bid Proposal Form. The City of Box Elder reserves the right to delete or negotiate separate bid items with the low bidder if necessary.

Instructions on Submission:
Bids are due by Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. Submit bid proposals to the Box Elder Finance Office no later than this deadline. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked Community Park Civil Defense Siren, Project No. 26026 and must also display the name and address of the bidder.

If submitting by mail, place the bid proposal envelope inside a separate mailing envelope addressed to:

Hand delivery is also accepted at the same address. No emailed bids will be accepted.
