The Town of Summerville is seeking a highly experienced professional consultant to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan that meets all Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) implementation grant requirements.

5. Equity Considerations: Identify underserved communities through data analysis and develop equity impact assessments for proposed projects.
6. Policy and Process Changes: Assess current policies to improve safety prioritization processes.
7. Strategy and Project Selections: Identify and prioritize projects based on community input and data analysis, ensuring alignment with community needs.
8. Progress and Transparency: Establish methods for measuring progress over time, ensuring the plan is publicly accessible.
Period of Performance
The project will be completed in one phase with an anticipated start date following contract award on October 9, 2025.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the entire transportation network of the Town of Summerville, SC, including public roadways, sidewalks, trails, mixed-use paths maintained by SCDOT, Dorchester County, and private roadways as practical.
