Temporary IT Professional Services

Background
The School District of Greenville County is seeking qualified vendors to provide Temporary IT Professional Services on an as-needed basis. The District aims to establish partnerships with vendors that have the necessary resources and highly trained personnel to deliver immediate and competent IT support.

The District serves approximately 78,000 students and 11,000 employees across more than 100 schools and facilities.

Work Details
The awarded vendor(s) will be responsible for providing IT temporary professional services, which include but are not limited to: System/Application Analysts, Data Architects, Database Administrators, Client Technologies Technicians, Cabling Installers, Network Engineers, VOIP Specialists, Network Administrators, and Internet/Web Engineers.

Each position has specific responsibilities and qualifications outlined in the solicitation. The services will be provided at fixed maximum hourly rates established by the District. Vendors must ensure that all costs are disclosed upfront without hidden fees. The scope of work may also include specialized skills categories requiring specific knowledge or project-based expertise.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one year from the date of award with options to extend annually for up to five years total if agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at various locations within the Greenville County School District in South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate their ability to provide reliable service sources and comply with all solicitation specifications. They must submit three professional references verifying their past performance in similar roles.

Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not debarred or suspended from receiving federal contracts and comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act.
