Background
The College of Charleston is seeking a qualified consultant to provide technology transfer consulting services. The goal of this contract is to support the development of institutional processes, policies, documentation, and training related to intellectual property (IP) and commercialization. This initiative aligns with the College's strategic goals in entrepreneurship, workforce development, and research commercialization.
Work Details
The contractor will engage in the following activities:
1. Support commercialization activities under the SACT grant from SCRA.
2. Assist in building technology transfer infrastructure.
3. Evaluate disclosures related to intellectual property.
4. Support IP strategy development.
5. Facilitate industry engagement to translate research outcomes into market-ready innovations.
The contract includes three years of consulting services, with one year dedicated to each phase of the project.
