Description

Background
The University of South Carolina is seeking proposals from qualified providers for a student engagement platform aimed at enhancing the student experience. The platform will empower students, foster innovation, and streamline management of student organizations. The solution must integrate with existing systems, offer a user-friendly interface, and provide key analytics to monitor and improve student engagement.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a comprehensive Student Engagement Platform that includes:

1. Implementation and Onboarding:
a. Project management services with a detailed implementation plan including milestones and timelines.
b. Facilitation of data migration from the current system (Engage), ensuring all user accounts, organizations, events, service hours, and historical engagement data are transferred accurately.
c. Configuration and customization of the platform to align with institutional branding and access controls.
d. Integration with institutional systems such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), and institutional data warehouse.
e. Conducting testing and user acceptance validation of all functional components prior to launch.

2. Implementation, Data Migration, and Go-Live Requirements:
a. A detailed implementation plan including work breakdown, milestones, dependencies, roles/responsibilities, and timeline through production cutover.
b. A data migration plan that includes source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, required extracts from Engage, import templates, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and is expected to end on June 30, 2031. The contract will be effective for one year with four additional one-year renewal options.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of South Carolina located in Columbia, SC.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must possess a USC User ID to submit an offer online. Registration with USC does not substitute for any obligation to register with the S.C. Secretary of State or S.C. Department of Revenue.
