Roof Replacement For Animal Care Services

Background
The County of Greenville is seeking sealed proposals for roof replacement at Animal Care Services located at 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC, 29609. This project aims to ensure the integrity and functionality of the roofing systems at the facility, which is essential for the welfare of the animals housed there.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of roofing systems on four (4) shingle-roof buildings and one (1) small membrane roof. Specific tasks include:

1. Demolition and removal of existing shingles and replacement with new architectural asphalt shingles on Building A (approximately 138 squares) and Building B (approximately 115 squares).
2. Replacement of low slope roof systems on Buildings A and B with new roof systems that include deck repairs, new insulation, taper, and single ply PVC/KEE roof membrane.
3. Roof deck repairs must be completed prior to new installations.
4. All associated roof sheet metal flashing and accessories must be included in the work.
5. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, safety measures, permits, waste removal, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as per local building codes and manufacturer requirements.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed within 85 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must provide evidence of all applicable licenses required by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. They are also required to submit separate pricing for each building as specified in the proposal documents.
