Riverland Terrace Boat Land Improvements

Background
The Riverland Terrace Boat Landing Improvements project is initiated by the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) to enhance recreational facilities. The goal of this contract is to replace the existing damaged floating dock and concrete abutment with new structures, thereby improving access for public use and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Work Details
The project involves the following key tasks:

1. Removal of the existing damaged floating dock and concrete abutment.
2. Installation of a new 8' x 90' floating dock.
3. Construction of a new 12' x 50' concrete groundout pad.
4. Installation of a new 9' x 20' concrete abutment.

The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and necessary permits to complete the work in accordance with local codes, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other relevant regulations.

Period of Performance
The work must achieve substantial completion by March 15, 2026, with final completion required by March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Riverland Terrace Boat Landing located at 85 Plymouth Avenue, Charleston, South Carolina 29412.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Marine Contractor’s License and Longshoremen’s Insurance for work on the floating dock. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a properly executed Contractor's Certification/Qualification Questionnaire and provide a list of proposed subcontractors on the Bid Form.
