Description

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) is soliciting proposals for the procurement, installation, and ductwork fitment of two new HVAC units as well as the removal and disposal of four existing units for the Administration Building HVAC System Replacement Project.
Background
Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) is soliciting proposals for the complete replacement of the HVAC units in the ReWa Administration Building. The goal of this contract is to enhance the efficiency and functionality of the HVAC system, which is critical for maintaining a conducive working environment. The project involves the procurement, installation, and ductwork fitment of new HVAC units as well as the removal and disposal of existing units.

Work Details
The contractor will provide two TRANE MFC-06LS equivalent HVAC units, remove four existing units, reconfigure ductwork to fit new units, remove free cooling coils, and connect to the existing cooling tower water loop. The contractor will subcontract Harris Integrated Solutions to integrate the new HVAC systems into the existing WebCTRL system. All products must be new and unused. Any additional equipment necessary for proper operation must be included without additional cost. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for loading, transporting, unloading, installing, adjusting, starting up, testing, and placing into operation the equipment once it arrives on site.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution of a Purchase Agreement and is expected to follow a specified schedule that includes deadlines for submittals such as shop drawings within two weeks of contract execution and preliminary operation & maintenance manuals within 30 days of shop drawing approval.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the ReWa Administration Building located at 561 Mauldin Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29607.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of their ability to furnish products or services as specified in the RFP. They are required to bond 100% of the project if the contract amount exceeds $50,000. Additionally, bidders must provide a performance bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in South Carolina. Proposers must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including EEO guidelines.
