Request for Quote: Columbia Campus Window Blinds & Shades

Background
The South Carolina Commission for the Blind (SCCB) is seeking to procure new window blinds and shades for its Columbia, South Carolina campus. The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the campus facilities through the installation of high-quality window treatments.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following products and services:

1. **Aluminum Blinds**:
- Product: 1” Aluminum Blind
- Color: Midnight
- Mount: Outside Mount
- Tilt Position: Left Tilt
- Tilt Type: Cordless Lift, Wand Tilt
- Bracket Type: Standard Bracket
- Multi Blind: Multiple Blinds per Headrail (2 blinds per headrail)
- Panel 1 Width: 55.625 inches, Panel 2 Width: 55.625 inches, with a gap of 0.25 inches between panels.

2. **Solar & Roller Shades**:
- Product: Roller / Solar Shades
- Color: SS Echo 5% Cottontail
- Mount: Outside Mount
- Lift Position: Left Lift
- Control Type: Continuous Loop with Black Control Color and Metal Chain.
- Hem Bar Type: Fabric Wrapped Hem Bar; Valance Type: Square MD Fab Wrp Cassette with Black Cassette End Cap.

3. **Installation and Removal**:
- The contractor will remove existing blinds/shades and install all new items in the windows.

4. **Measurements**:
- Contractor must measure all windows prior to issuance of a Purchase Order by SCCB.

5. **Samples**:
- Contractor must provide samples of each item quoted for approval by SCCB Project Manager.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period begins upon issuance of a Purchase Order and continues until all products are delivered and installed, with specific timelines to be established during the procurement process.

Place of Performance
All items will be shipped to and services performed at the South Carolina Commission for the Blind, Columbia Campus, located at 1430 Confederate Ave, Columbia, SC 29201-1914.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be registered vendors with the State of South Carolina to submit a response. Additionally, contractors are required to maintain liability insurance covering general liability, auto liability, and worker's compensation as specified in the solicitation terms.
