Background
Florence 1 Schools is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide research-based and evidence-based professional development aimed at enhancing teacher effectiveness and instructional practices for K-12 educators. The goal is to strengthen instructional capacity across classrooms, leading to improved student engagement and achievement.

Work Details
The selected provider(s) must deliver professional development that includes the following components:

- Build teacher effectiveness through research-based instructional strategies aligned to evidence-based practices.
- Support educators in effective differentiation to meet diverse needs of K-12 learners.
- Provide strategies for improving student engagement and active learning.
- Strengthen understanding and implementation of assessment practices.
- Provide classroom management strategies.
- Support instructional planning aligned to standards.
- Incorporate strategies for diverse learners, including multilingual students.
- Include opportunities for modeling, guided practice, and application of strategies.

Participants will develop a deeper understanding of effective instructional design, gain knowledge of engagement strategies, learn data usage for guiding instruction, strengthen differentiation skills, apply classroom management strategies, and engage in applicable professional learning across grade levels and subject areas. The contractor(s) shall provide services for 30-50 participants per session (6 one-hour sessions per day), include all associated costs (tuition, materials, shipping, travel), ensure materials are provided only for scheduled training dates approved by the F1S Professional Development Office, collaborate with the F1S Professional Development Director on scheduling and logistics, provide qualified facilitators with expertise in instructional practice, and deliver training aligned with learning objectives and district expectations.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is one year with the possibility of up to four additional one-year renewals based on vendor performance and annual appropriation of funds.

Place of Performance
Florence 1 Schools located at 319 S. Irby St., Florence, SC 29501.

Bidder Requirements
Offers will be accepted from qualified vendors who are properly licensed. Vendors must comply with South Carolina laws regarding business authorization and licensing. They must also certify compliance with the South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act and not be listed on the State Treasurer's list of persons engaged in investment activities in Iran.
