Network Upgrades

Background
York County School District One is seeking sealed proposals for Network Upgrades, specifically to enhance Network Switches and Wireless Access Points across three instructional facilities within the District.
The goal of this contract is to improve the network infrastructure to support educational activities effectively.

Work Details
The project includes upgrades to Network Switches and Wireless Access Points, along with any necessary ancillary parts, corresponding equipment/materials, and mounting hardware.
Vendors are required to provide a turn-key solution that encompasses acquisition, staging, installation, patching in, configuration, infrastructure adjustments, and testing of the new network equipment.
Additionally, the selected vendor will be responsible for removing any obsolete network gear as needed and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations for disposal.
Proposals must itemize all costs by entity location and separate materials from labor costs. If any quoted item is not eligible for E-Rate support, the vendor must provide a cost allocation.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will commence upon signing and extend through September 30, 2029.
There is an option for voluntary extensions in one-year increments.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at three instructional facilities within York County School District One located in York, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have a current FCC Form 498 ID and be in good standing with USAC-SLD (the E-Rate Program).
They must also provide documentation proving completion of the Form 498 ID process with their proposal response.
Additionally, vendors are required to maintain all necessary licenses and permits throughout the contract duration.
