Background
The Lowcountry Regional Transportation Authority (LRTA), established in 1978, is the primary public transportation provider for Beaufort and Jasper counties in South Carolina.
The agency's mission is to provide efficient and reliable transportation services to enhance mobility in the region.
LRTA is seeking proposals for Managed IT Services to support its technology infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient operations.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive Information Technology Support Services, including both onsite and remote support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Protecting and securing client data.
- Ensuring efficient operation of computer systems and consistent network availability.
- Minimizing technology spending while maximizing return on investment.
- Setting up new computers.
- Organizing Help Desk service calls to minimize downtime during normal working hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday).
- Conducting an initial assessment of the current infrastructure, which includes 19 desktop PCs, 3 encrypted laptops (2 MacBook Pro), 5 wireless laptops, 2 wireless copier/scanner/printers, and software applications such as Google Apps and Microsoft 365.
- Providing desktop application support, server and workstation administration services, network administration services, email management, security audits, and backup efforts.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a period of three years with an option for a one-year renewal.
Work is expected to commence on a mutually agreed date following the selection of the successful vendor.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Lowcountry Regional Transportation Authority's facilities located in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Proposals must comply with applicable State and Federal laws.
The LRTA encourages participation from Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and requires compliance with its DBE Program goal requirements where applicable.
