The work involves the construction of a new Sheriff Training Building utilizing a Pre-Engineered Metal Building system with an approximate area of 3,200 square feet. This includes all associated site work, building construction, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work as outlined in the construction documents.

Specific tasks include:
- Site clearing and earth moving
- Concrete work including cast-in-place concrete
- Installation of plumbing systems including domestic water piping and sanitary waste piping
- Mechanical systems installation including HVAC units and ductwork
- Electrical systems installation including low-voltage conductors and lighting control devices
- Construction of structural elements such as cold-formed steel framing and metal roof panels
- Finishing work including painting, tiling, and installation of doors and windows.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence with a Notice to Proceed issued within 60 calendar days from the bid opening date. Substantial completion of the work is expected no later than 270 days from the Notice to Proceed, with final completion required within an additional 60 calendar days.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed general contractors in South Carolina.
