Instron Tensile/Compression Machine

Background
The University of South Carolina is soliciting bids from qualified suppliers to provide a refurbished/reconditioned Instron Tensile/Compression Machine. The machine is intended to support the university's mission in research and testing, ensuring high-quality results in material testing applications.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a refurbished/reconditioned Instron Model 4467 Tensile/Compression Machine with the following specifications:
- Maximum capacity of 30 kN (6,000 Lbf)
- Includes 30 kN Instron Wedge Grips and Platens (used)
- Two-year warranty covering parts and labor
- One additional load cell of 1 kN with mounting hardware, self ID chip, cable & calibrated for tension and compression.

The machine will be equipped with a computer system, a 24" LED-backlit LCD monitor, Microsoft Windows 11 Professional, MTGenius software for data acquisition and analysis, and an electronic material testing control system. Onsite installation assistance, calibration, training by an authorized technician, equipment inspection, remote service & support for the life of the machine are included.

Period of Performance
Delivery is expected within thirty (30) days after receipt of the purchase order.
