Honors College Renovations at Harper Elliot

Background
The University of South Carolina (USC) is classified as a governmental body of the executive branch of South Carolina state government. The agency is seeking architectural and engineering services for renovations at Harper Elliott College and the DeSaussure Building, focusing on enhancing the facilities to better serve its mission.

Work Details
The project involves the replacement of the HVAC system, including fan coils, pumps, and piping, in Harper Elliott College, which spans approximately 12,000 gross square feet (GSF).

Additionally, various interior architectural upgrades will be made to offices, a student lounge, and meeting rooms. Minor renovations may also be required to ensure ADA compliance in the bathrooms of the DeSaussure Building. The anticipated professional services include architectural, structural, and electrical engineering.

Period of Performance
The resume deadline for submissions is May 22, 2025, at 2:30 PM. The contract's period of performance will be determined based on project timelines following the selection process.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Harper Elliott College and DeSaussure Building located in Columbia, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must submit a current Standard Federal Form 330 and provide contact information for a primary contact person. A certification stating whether the firm is a resident of South Carolina is required. Additionally, firms must be properly licensed according to Title 40 of the SC Code of Laws at the time of resume submission.
