Background
The University of South Carolina (USC) is issuing a solicitation for High-Voltage Electrical Contracting Services as part of its mission to maintain and enhance campus electrical utilities.
The goal of this contract is to provide as-needed general contracting services for underground electrical utilities, which are critical for the operation of the campus.
Work Details
The contractor will provide general contracting services that include work associated with the replacement, maintenance, and landing of power supply cables over 600V in both wet and dry locations.
This encompasses all campus electrical utilities that are underground, whether they are direct buried or located in utility tunnels or chases.
The contractor must hold the appropriate licensure (1U/2U) to perform these services.
Period of Performance
The contract period will last for 3 years with two optional 1-year extensions, allowing for continued service as needed.

The work will be performed at the Columbia Campus of the University of South Carolina.
Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be properly licensed according to Title 40 of the SC Code of Laws.
They are required to provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for each Task Order, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
