High-Voltage Electrical Contracting Services

Background
The University of South Carolina (USC) is seeking contractors to provide High-Voltage Electrical Contracting Services. The agency's mission includes maintaining and upgrading campus electrical utilities, which are critical for the operational integrity of the university's infrastructure. The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable power supply through the replacement, maintenance, and landing of power supply cables over 600V in various conditions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide as-needed general contracting services specifically for campus electrical utilities that are underground. This includes work associated with:
- Replacement of power supply cables over 600V in both wet and dry locations.
- Maintenance of existing underground electrical utilities, which may include direct burial or installation within utility tunnels or chases.
Licensure required for this project includes classifications 1U and 2U.

Period of Performance
The contract period will last for three years with the possibility of two one-year extensions.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed on the Columbia Campus of the University of South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must possess a valid South Carolina contractor's license as per Title 40 of the SC Code of Laws. Additionally, contractors are required to provide performance and labor/material payment bonds for each task order, each amounting to 100% of the contract price.
