Background
The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) is seeking proposals from qualified companies engaged in sound and light production services for outdoor concerts and festivals. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality sound and lighting for various events held at CCPRC facilities over a period of one year, with options for renewal for up to four additional one-year periods.
CCPRC manages over 11,000 acres of recreational properties, offering a variety of services including festivals and events.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing sound production services at multiple festivals and events from 2025 through 2029. Specific events include:
1. Reggae Night Summer Concert Series (May 30, June 20, July 11, August 1, 2025) at James Island County Park with expected attendance of 1,500-2,500 people.
2. Latin American Festival (October 5, 2025) at North Charleston Wannamaker County Park with expected attendance of 5,000 people.
3. Lowcountry Cajun Festival (April 12, 2025) at James Island County Park with expected attendance of 8,500 people.
4. Harvest Festival (November 1, 2025) at Johns Island County Park with expected attendance of 4,000 people.
5. Palmetto Park Jam (March 8 and October 12, 2025) at Palmetto Island County Park with expected attendance of approximately 1,000-2,500 people.
Each event will require adequate sound systems including elevated delayed speaker systems for larger audiences. The vendor must also provide stage lighting as specified in the RFP.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is one year starting from the date of the agreement with options to renew for up to four additional one-year periods.
The overall duration may extend up to five years depending on performance evaluations.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations managed by the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission including:
- James Island County Park
- North Charleston Wannamaker County Park
- Johns Island County Park
- Palmetto Island County Park.
