Charleston County is seeking information from qualified firms with established experience in providing turnkey Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) solutions to support the operational and public safety needs of the County. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather details regarding available technologies, system capabilities, deployment models, and vendor experience to inform a potential future procurement process.
Work Details
The County requires a scalable CAD platform that supports current operations and allows for future expansion to additional public safety partners and agencies. The current operational environment includes a primary CAD center with 45 dispatch positions and a backup CAD center with 30 dispatch positions. - Primary CAD system deployed on-premise with optional cloud-hosted disaster recovery.
- Active/Active configuration between primary and disaster recovery systems.

- Mobile platform requirements include support for over 1,350 mobile devices across Windows, Android, and Apple platforms.
