Background
The City of Tega Cay, located in South Carolina, employs approximately 135 full-time employees and provides a full range of municipal services. The City is seeking to engage a qualified consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive Classification and Compensation Study to evaluate and update its existing classification and compensation system. The goal is to ensure internal equity, external market competitiveness, compliance with applicable laws, and alignment with the current organizational structure.

Work Details
The selected consultant shall perform the following services:

1. Classification Review:
a. Review and validate all existing job descriptions;
b. Conduct job analysis through interviews, questionnaires, or audits;
c. Recommend appropriate job classifications based on duties, responsibilities, and required qualifications;
d. Ensure proper alignment with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requirements.

4. Deliverables:
a. Draft and final written report detailing methodology, findings, and recommendations;
b. Updated classification plan and compensation structure;
c. Implementation options with fiscal impact scenarios;
d. Executive-level presentation to City leadership.

The contract will be performed from the date of award until completion of the study, with proposals due by June 30, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
