The School District of Greenville County (District) is seeking proposals from interested firms to provide a comprehensive Chromebook Management System. Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a Chromebook Management System capable of managing around 80,000 student devices across approximately 90 school sites. Key functionalities include:
1. Comprehensive Asset Management: Inventory management for Chromebooks and accessories, lifecycle management, and grouping assets by various categories.
2. Check-In / Check-Out Management: Streamlined processes for device assignment and return, including barcode scanning and digital signature capture.
3. Fee & Damage Tracking: Recording incidents, assessing fees for damages or losses, and maintaining student balances.
4. Integrations: Synchronization with Google Admin Console and PowerSchool for data imports, compatibility with SSO systems, and open APIs for reporting.
5. Reporting and Analytics: Customizable reports for inventory, assignments, repairs, and fees.
6. User Access and Roles: Role-based access control for different user types.
7. Data Security and Compliance: Adherence to FERPA, COPPA, secure data storage protocols.
8. Implementation Support: Vendor-provided configuration, training materials, ongoing support.
Period of Performance
The initial contract term will begin after award issuance with a pilot phase starting in Spring 2026 and full rollout commencing on July 1, 2026. The contract is for one year with options to renew annually for up to four additional years, totaling a maximum of five years.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the School District of Greenville County in South Carolina.
