Building Envelope/Moisture Protection Services

Background
The University of South Carolina is seeking contractors to provide Building Envelope and Moisture Protection Contracting Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and protection of building structures within South Carolina. Contractors must possess a valid South Carolina General Contracting license with specific subclassifications.

Work Details
Contractors will provide as-needed general contracting services related to building envelope and moisture protection. This includes waterproofing, insulation, and other related services necessary for maintaining the structural integrity of buildings. Contractors must maintain their SC General Contracting license with BD or NR subclassifications throughout the contract duration.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set for 3 years with two optional 1-year extensions, allowing for a maximum total duration of 5 years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic area of South Carolina, specifically on the Columbia campus.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must possess a valid SC General Contracting license with BD or NR subclassifications at the time of proposal submission and throughout the contract's life. Additionally, contractors are required to provide performance and labor/material payment bonds for each task order, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
