Standards, Assessment, and Accountability Technical Support

Background
The Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (RIDE) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide consultation and technical support in standards, assessment, and accountability. The goal of this contract is to enhance the educational standards and assessment processes within the state.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive consultation services related to educational standards, assessment frameworks, and accountability measures. This includes but is not limited to:

- Developing assessment tools
- Providing training for educators on assessment practices
- Analyzing data related to student performance
- Assisting in the implementation of accountability systems

The vendor must demonstrate experience in similar projects and provide a detailed plan for service delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of a purchase order and will last for an initial period of three (3) years, with the possibility of two (2) additional one-year renewals based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily within the State of Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit proposals. They are required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Vendors must also demonstrate their commitment to including minority-owned (MBE), women-owned (WBE), or disability-owned businesses (DisBE) in their proposals. Insurance requirements include:

- General liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence
- Workers' compensation insurance
- Automobile liability insurance
- Professional liability insurance.
