Sand Blast and Paint Road Grader

Background
The Town of Narragansett's Purchasing Department is seeking quotations for the sand blasting and painting of a 1974 John Deere 710-A Road Grader.
This contract aims to maintain the equipment used by the Public Works Department, ensuring it remains functional and visually appealing.

Work Details
The contractor will sand blast and paint one 1974 John Deere 710-A Road Grader.
The work includes:
- Sand blasting
- Masking for overspray
- Removing glass if necessary
- Priming with metal primer
- Painting with John Deere Yellow and John Deere Semi-gloss Black on both the exterior and interior
- Applying undercoating where applicable.

Additionally, the contractor must allow for 5 hours of labor to free frozen saddle pins to ensure that the rotating blade table can pivot left and right.
Any additional labor required to free frozen saddle pins will be billed at an hourly rate, which must be pre-approved before proceeding.

Period of Performance
The delivery of services is required by October 16, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will take place at the Department of Public Works located at 260 Westmoreland St, Narragansett, RI 02882.
