Description

Rhode Island Department of Transportation is soliciting Design-Build services for Route 138 Kingstown Road. This project involves the resurfacing of the roadway, limited sidewalk replacement / extension, and handicapped ramp installation. Bridges No.173, No.183 and No.372 which spans the Amtrak Northeast Corridor will be replaced; bridge No.172 will be repaired. This SOQ request for qualifications is being solicited as Phase 1 of a two-phase process to procure the Best Value Design-Build (BVDB) services for Route 138 Kingstown Road. Background
The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is seeking Design-Build services for the Route 138 Kingstown Road project. This initiative aims to enhance roadway safety and accessibility through resurfacing, limited sidewalk replacement and extension, and installation of handicapped ramps. Additionally, the project includes the replacement of three bridges (No.173, No.183, and No.372) that span the Amtrak Northeast Corridor, while bridge No.172 will undergo repairs.
