RIDOT: Automated Pavement Condition Data Collection Survey Services

Background
The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is seeking proposals for Automated Pavement Condition Data Collection and Pavement View Digital Imaging Services. The goal of this contract is to enhance RIDOT's pavement management network through a performance-based approach, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for collecting, processing, verifying, and delivering a comprehensive dataset for RIDOT's pavement management network. The services required include:
- Measurement of pavement roughness
- Collection of pavement and right-of-way imagery
- LiDAR data acquisition
- Cross slope measurements and related metrics.
The vendor must utilize data collection equipment capable of fulfilling these specifications.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is approximately three years, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the State of Rhode Island, specifically targeting areas within RIDOT's jurisdiction.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit proposals. They are required to maintain necessary licenses and registrations as per Rhode Island state laws. Additionally, vendors must comply with insurance requirements including liability coverage, workers' compensation, and professional liability insurance.
