Description

The Rhode Island Air National Guard (RIANG) is requesting quotes from vendors to replace the base perimeter fence at Quonset State Airport, RI. There will be a non-mandatory prebid conference on Thursday March 27, 2025 at 9:00 am, located at 1 Cripe Street, North Kingstown RI. Background
The Rhode Island Air National Guard (RIANG) is seeking quotes from vendors to replace the base perimeter fence at Quonset State Airport, RI. This project aims to enhance security and safety at the airport. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on March 27, 2025, to provide further details to interested vendors.

Work Details
The contract involves the complete removal and replacement of an existing perimeter fence measuring 6,466 linear feet (LF) along with five (5) exterior gates. The work must comply with the attached drawings and specifications provided in the solicitation documents.

Additionally, there is an option for an upgraded fence fabric finish that includes a PVC coating over the new fence mesh fabric for the entire length and height of the new fencing, with a specified color of black.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately on May 1, 2025, lasting for four (4) months. The construction period is set for 90 days from receipt of notice to proceed, followed by one (1) additional month allocated for final inspections and closeout.
