RIANG Lighting Retrofit Quonset and North Smithfield Air Base

Background
The Rhode Island Air National Guard is seeking a vendor to retrofit existing lighting fixtures to LED fixtures at the North Smithfield and Quonset bases. This initiative aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs associated with lighting at these military installations.

Work Details
The contract involves retrofitting a total of 1,562 existing lighting fixtures to LED fixtures. The work will take place at two locations:

1. Quonset Point Air National Guard Base, Cripe St, North Kingstown, RI
2. North Smithfield Air Guard Station, 274 Old Oxford Rd, North Smithfield, RI 02896.

The vendor must ensure that all work complies with the specifications outlined in the RFQ25004769 Scope of Work document. Additionally, a bid surety bond or certified check is required as part of the proposal submission.

Period of Performance
The contract period will begin approximately on December 24, 2024, for a duration of one year. Contracts may be renewed for up to one additional 12-month period based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Quonset Point Air National Guard Base in North Kingstown, RI, and North Smithfield Air Guard Station in North Smithfield, RI.
