Background
The University of Rhode Island (URI) is seeking bids for refrigeration equipment repair services. The bid number is 101387 and the bids are to be received by the URI Purchasing Department by 6/14/2024 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time. The period of performance for this contract is from 7/1/2024 to 6/30/2027.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide service, parts, and labor to perform repairs on various refrigeration equipment including Traulsen, True, Beverage Air, Hussmann, Sub-Zero, and others. The repairs are non-prevailing wage for some equipment and prevailing wage for others.
Emergency service will be on call 24 hours per day and 7 days per week.
All work must be performed by licensed refrigeration technicians unless noted and billed accordingly.
The contractor must communicate when on route and when the job is complete, compile and provide an audit of all parts and services performed for each piece of equipment, possess all licenses required to operate scissor lifts and other current safety requirements, and have a Rhode Island Mechanical License.

Period of Performance
The contract will be in effect from 7/1/2024 to 6/30/2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the University of Rhode Island campus in Kingston, RI.
