PrepareRI Website Redesign

Background
The State of Rhode Island is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the redesign of the PrepareRI website. The goal of this project is to create a modern, user-friendly platform that effectively communicates PrepareRI’s mission of preparing Rhode Island youth for meaningful careers through collaboration between education and workforce development.

The redesigned website will also support the PrepareRI: Destination 2030 action plan by highlighting key initiatives, resources, and opportunities for engagement.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for redesigning the PrepareRI website (https://www.prepare-ri.org/) to align with best practices in accessibility, design, and user engagement. The new site must be visually compelling, intuitive, and accessible to various stakeholders including students, families, educators, employers, and partners.

Key features include:
- Clear communication of PrepareRI’s mission.
- Support for the Destination 2030 action plan.
- Highlighting key initiatives and resources.
- Opportunities for engagement with users.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately in January 2026 and last for 6 months. Contracts may be renewed for up to 2 additional 6-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit proposals. They are required to comply with insurance requirements including liability insurance with a combined single limit of $1 million per occurrence, workers' compensation insurance, and technology errors and omissions insurance with limits not less than $5 million per occurrence.

Vendors must also meet ISBE participation requirements as part of their proposal.
