Out-of-School Time Quality Improvement Support

Background
The Rhode Island Department of Education is seeking proposals for 21st Century Community Learning Center Quality Advisors.
The goal of this contract is to support community organizations, local education agencies, and municipalities in improving the quality of out-of-school time programs.
This initiative aims to enhance educational opportunities for students outside of regular school hours.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide quality advisory services to community organizations and local education agencies.
Specific tasks include:
- Assessing the needs of out-of-school time programs.
- Providing guidance and support in program development and implementation.
- Facilitating training sessions for staff involved in these programs.
- Evaluating program effectiveness and providing feedback for improvement.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with educational standards and community needs.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately July 1, 2025, and will last for five years.
There is an option to renew the contract for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout the State of Rhode Island, specifically targeting community organizations, local education agencies, and municipalities involved in out-of-school time programming.
