MPA 633 Electronic Platforms for Social Services

Background
The Executive Office of Health and Human Services of the State of Rhode Island is seeking experienced vendors to implement a technology platform aimed at supporting screening, coordination, and referrals for social needs services and benefit programs. The goal is to ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state privacy requirements, including necessary participant consent processes.

Work Details
Vendors are required to implement a technology platform that facilitates screening, coordination, and referrals for social needs services and benefit programs. The system must adhere to all pertinent federal and state privacy regulations and include processes for obtaining participant consent.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will commence approximately on June 1, 2025, lasting for three (3) years. There is a possibility of renewal for up to two (2) additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in the State of Rhode Island, specifically at the Executive Office of Health and Human Services located at 74 West Road, Cranston RI 02920.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit solicitation responses. They must comply with insurance requirements including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, workers' compensation insurance, automobile liability insurance, professional liability insurance of $2 million per occurrence, and specific cyber/privacy insurance requirements. Additionally, vendors are required to submit an MBE Participation Acknowledgment Form as part of their proposal.
