MARKETING STRATEGY SERVICES
Background
The University of Rhode Island (URI) College of Pharmacy (COP) is seeking proposals for marketing strategy services to support its 5-year vision.
The URI COP is a mission-driven research institution focused on advancing health and transforming communities through education and research.
The goal of this partnership is to increase brand awareness, attract research funding, and boost applications for undergraduate and graduate programs in pharmacy.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. **Campaign Strategy and Planning**: Develop a comprehensive marketing campaign strategy aligned with the University admissions calendar, create key campaign themes, and establish a monthly content calendar for social media posts, email campaigns, and blog updates.
2. **Creative Services**: Design an updated PowerPoint template for URI COP, create visually appealing content including infographics and videos showcasing achievements.
3. **Digital Marketing**: Provide SEO services to enhance website traffic through audits and implementation of strategies; develop SEO-optimized content such as blog posts and press releases.
4. **Social Media Management**: Create platform-specific strategies for TikTok and Instagram; produce short-form video content; manage targeted social media ad campaigns.
5. **Traditional Marketing**: Design print advertisements; create compelling social media content emphasizing the College’s unique value propositions.
6. **Public Relations**: Handle media outreach; draft press releases for significant achievements; cultivate relationships with media contacts; organize community engagement events.
7. **Analytics and Reporting**: Provide detailed analytics on marketing effectiveness including metrics like website traffic and social media engagement using tools like Google Analytics.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately on November 1st, 2024, lasting for one year with the possibility of renewal for up to three additional 12-month periods based on performance.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed at the University of Rhode Island's College of Pharmacy located in Kingston, Rhode Island.
