Grease Trap Pumping

Background
The University of Rhode Island (URI) is seeking bids for grease trap pumping services. The University's Purchasing Department is responsible for managing the procurement process. The contract will be subject to the URI Board of Trustees Procurement Regulations and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide inspection, cleaning, and disposal of contents of grease traps located outside various buildings on the URI campus. The work includes servicing grease traps at specific locations, such as Butterfield Dining Hall, Hope Commons, Rams Den, and Bake Shop.
The services are to be performed on a monthly basis or as needed, with specific quantities and timeframes provided for each location. Additionally, high velocity jetting of grease lines at Hope Commons is required approximately four times per year.

Period of Performance
The blanket requirements for the contract are from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027. The opening date and time for bids is set for June 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.

Place of Performance
The services are to be performed at various locations within the URI campus in Kingston, RI.
